The Allett Tournament cylinder mower is ideal for regular cutting of bowling and golf greens, cricket wickets and similar areas of fine turf requiring a close, even and precise finish. To help produce the optimum cut, the Tournament mower is fitted as standard with a powered Turf Groomer positioned immediately in front of the cutting cylinder. Comprising a series of closely-spaced vertical blades, the rotating grooming reel lifts lateral growth and "runners", ensuring that all of the grass being mown is presented to the cutting cylinder in the correct manner (ie standing up). The result is a consistently even and level finish that will be appreciated particularly by those using the surface for sports such as bowls and golf where the roll and run of the ball are key. The groomer's working height can be adjusted easily and the entire assembly can be raised above the turf if grooming is not required

Available in 510mm (20in) and 610mm (24in) cutting widths, the Tournament will bring a first-class finish to golf and bowling greens, cricket wickets and other high profile, close-cut grass surfaces.

Easy to set and operate, the Tournament is equipped as standard with a powered turf groomer that uses thin, close-spaced vertical blades to lift lateral grasses and "runners" immediately in front of the 10-bladed cutting cylinder, ensuring that all grass is presented at the optimum angle (ie standing up) for cutting. The result is a consistently level, true and even finish, meeting the exacting requirements of sports such as bowls and golf where speed and run of the ball are key.

Allett's micrometer-type quick cutting height adjuster provides fast and easy setting of height of cut across a range from 2.4mm to 19mm.

Further features of this fine mower include independent hand lever-operated clutches for the cutting cylinder and rear roller drive ensuring smooth, positive control at all times while the Tournament's excellent balance make it a pleasure to use across all fine turf surfaces.
