Every component, like a heavy duty commercial grade hydrostatic transaxle and this fully welded steel frame, are designed to maximize long term strength. The patented frame extends past the front hood to serve as a bumper and to hold front weights to balance rear attachments.<p>

ROLL-OVER PROTECTION
All X940 Series models are fitted with a rugged roll-over protection system (ROPS) to keep operators safe during operation. The bar can be folded down temporarily when working under trees or overgrowth.

The 3-cylinder, high torque diesel engine delivers the power for any attachment you need. Efficient combustion reduces exhaust emissions and increases fuel economy.<

Enjoy the ride while you work with a tilt steering wheel (6 positions) and a high back deep cushioned seat with adjustable tilt back (optional suspension and armrests).<p>

For the toughest conditions, the easy to operate differential lock provides maximum traction.<p>

Hydraulic control levers are positioned on the steering pedestal for quick, easy and precise control of your mower deck and attachments. The lower lever has a “float” position to allow front mounted equipment to follow the contours of the ground.<p>

 The 48A" Accell Deep Drive Over Deck With Mulch on Demand control which allows you to switch between discharge and mulch by simply moving a lever.The decks are shaft driven for durability and long life and the oil immersed PTO clutch provides soft engagement and literally no service. The cutting height can be easily adjusted with a convenient knob located on the dashboard. Other deck options are available.<p>

Collect grass clippings while you mow, and dump them fast with the MCS 580 Material Collection System (600 litre capacity). The steel impeller housing and robust steel fan transport material from the mower deck up into the collection hopper. The hydraulic levers make it easy to open the door and dump. For dumping into trucks or containers up to 1.8 meters high, choose the 580H high dump model. A 500 litre 3-bag collection system is also available.<p>

For more versatility, an optional rear 3-point rear hitch with 540 rpm rear PTO and a John Deere Quick Hitch are available to run powered implements or to attach one of our Quick Hitch Brooms or Blades.
