Mountfield MTF 98M-SD Side-Discharge Lawn Tractor

The Mountfield MTF 98M SD is a dedicated side-discharge garden tractor. Powered by Stiga ST350 352cc single cylinder engine and featuring a manual transmission with 5 forward gears and 1 reverse gear, and with no bulky grass collector present, it is highly manoeuvrable.

The 98cm cutting width twin bladed deck makes light work of large areas and there are 7 cutting heights to choose ranging from 25-80mm depending on conditions.

As a dedicated side-discharge machine this mower is excellent when grass growth is fast, you could even choose to mulch the clippings using a mulching plug, available separately. When mulching, the clippings are finely cut and blown back down onto the lawn to decompose and return valuable nutrients to the lawn.

Cleaning after use couldn’t be easier just connect your hose to the deck nozzle, turn on the water and engage the blades and you will quickly have a clean deck and blades ready for next time.

Optional extras include a battery charger, mulch plug and towing hitch. Suitable for lawns up to 2 acres and with a 2-year manufacturer’s warranty this is a great garden tractor.
