The Stihl SHA 140 is a powerful battery-operated vacuum shredder designed for professionals and part of the Stihl AP System. Offering 15% more suction power than the petrol SH 86 model, it’s perfect for landscapers and grounds maintenance teams.

The SHA 140 easily vacuums and shreds leaves, grass, and hedge clippings. Its strong suction makes it effective on all surfaces, from asphalt and concrete to gravel, lawns, and flowerbeds.

This tool is easy to assemble, with a catcher bag that can be removed without tools. Its wide openings make cleaning straightforward, so clogs are cleared with minimal effort. The ergonomic handle design and bag positioning ensure comfortable operation. Ventilation openings on the collection bag maintain steady suction, while a metal shredder blade efficiently reduces debris size for quicker composting. The robust collection bag is designed for quick, easy emptying and features durable metal buckles instead of a zipper.

The SHA 140 also comes with a variable speed trigger for better control, along with a boost mode for extra power when needed. Its IPX4 rating means it can be used in wet conditions, and the Smart Connector 2A allows for easy connection to Stihl’s online system.

With the recommended AP 300 S battery, the tool runs for up to 60 minutes (or 38 minutes in boost mode) on a full charge, offering plenty of work time between charges.

CONNECTIVITY (READY) - COMPATIBLE WITH THE SMART CONNECTOR 2A. You can mount a Smart Connector 2 A in the housing of the power tool at the dedicated position. Once installed, this connects to the control unit and transmits valuable power tool data to your smartphone, tablet or the STIHL connected Box that is within range. You can use the STIHL connected App and the STIHL connected Portal to view the STIHL connected gathered data and benefit from additional functions.
